T-works : From Liuyang Industrial Park to Global Markets, A Two-Decade Legacy in Pile Machinery

2025 marks the 20th anniversary of Changsha Tianwei Engineering Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. What began as a local startup in Changsha back in 2005 has grown into a global leader in pile machinery, rooted deeply in Liuyang’s manufacturing hub. Over 20 years of dedication and breakthroughs, it has carved a proud name for "Chinese ingenuity" across the world’s foundation engineering landscape—with a heartening milestone: its first-half 2025 output has already surpassed the entire 2024 figure, a testament to its enduring momentum.  

Humble Beginnings: Building Trust Through Quality

2005-2009

On April 27, 2005, Changsha Tianwei officially opened its doors. Back then, the pile machinery market was already fiercely competitive, but the team held fast to a simple belief: "Quality builds the future." By the next year, the company’s output exceeded 20 million yuan, earning its first foothold with reliable, well-crafted products.  

                 

To lay a stronger foundation, in 2007, T-works's leadership made a pivotal decision: purchasing land in Liuyang’s manufacturing park, near Changsha Huanghua Airport, to prepare for scaled production. October 2008 saw the approval of their factory site, and that same year, their machines traveled overseas for the first time—reaching Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. It was a small step, but one that planted the seeds for global reach. By May 2009, they moved into their custom-built Liuyang facility, leaving rented workshops behind and gaining the space to grow.  

Growing Years: Focus and Precision Earn Industry Respect  

               

Settled in Liuyang, Tianwei accelerated its growth. By 2010, just five years after founding, it was producing 15 pile drivers monthly, with annual output exceeding 100 million yuan—quickly becoming one of the region’s fastest-rising stars in construction machinery.

2010-2015

This progress stemmed from unwavering investment in research and a knack for understanding customers’ needs. By 2015, when Tianwei celebrated its 10th anniversary, its pile drivers had become industry benchmarks. In Southeast Asia, "Made by Tianwei" was a trusted name, chosen time and again for local infrastructure projects thanks to consistent performance and adaptability.  

Breaking Borders: Innovation Opens Global Doors

2016-2018

2016 marked a defining leap: T-works's static pile drivers entered Western European markets, joining a select few Chinese brands to earn trust in this high-standard region. It was more than expansion—it was proof that their craftsmanship could stand alongside the world’s best.  

               

Technological prowess continued to shine. In 2017, drawing on years of pile machinery expertise, Tianwei developed custom disc pelletizers for Baosteel’s environmental upgrade projects, extending its skills to industrial sustainability and showing versatility beyond foundation work.  

Answering China’s Belt and Road initiative, 2018 brought another meaningful chapter: Tianwei was invited to participate in projects in Karachi, Pakistan, bringing its equipment and service to South Asia. It was a proud moment—small but significant—in China’s story of engineering excellence going global.

The first half of 2025 brought extraordinary news: fueled by Liuyang Industrial Park’s robust supply chain and a resurgent global demand for infrastructure, T-works's output surpassed its entire 2024 performance. It was a heartening milestone, built on 20 years of refining its craft. Custom machines for tricky geological conditions, smart construction solutions, and responsive service won over clients worldwide: orders surged 60% year-on-year in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, while Western European market share climbed 8 percentage points.  Looking back, T-works's 20 years have been guided by a simple promise: "Focus on piles, serve the world."
