Bored Pile Drilling Rig

A bored pile drilling rig is a heavy-duty hydraulic crawler machine used in foundation engineering to create deep, large-diameter concrete piles. It typically employs rotary drilling with augers or buckets to remove soil. Key advantages include minimal vibration and ability to work in varied, challenging soil conditions. 

Key Components and Functionality

Rotary Drive: Provides high torque to drive drilling tools into hard ground or rock.

Kelly Bar: A telescopic bar that transmits torque and crowd force to the drilling tool.

Drilling Tools: Buckets (for soft soil), augers (for stiff clay/rock), and core barrels (for hard rock).

Casing Oscillator/Rotator: Used to insert temporary or permanent steel casings to prevent borehole collapse, especially in high water table conditions.
