Remove the four legs

This dismantling strictly followed the dedicated procedure for small-tonnage machines, with the first step focusing on removing the four outriggers. The outriggers of this pile driver are connected by thickened and heavy-duty steel screws—this connection method not only ensures structural stability but also greatly enhances dismantling convenience. In accordance with standard procedures, workers first removed the connecting bolts in an orderly manner, then took off the steel screws. During this process, mechanical dismantling torque control standards were strictly observed to avoid any damage to the outriggers and connecting parts. After completing the above steps, professional lifting equipment was used to slowly move out the outriggers at a precisely calculated lifting angle and speed. Each of the four outriggers is marked with a clear position identifier, which eliminates the trouble of positioning during subsequent on-site installation by the customer and effectively reduces positioning time and the risk of human error in the installation process.

Process the fuselage main body

After the outriggers were dismantled, the work entered the stage of handling the main body of the machine. Using professional lifting equipment that meets the required lifting capacity, workers smoothly lifted the main body away from its original position. For the bottom of the main body—an area prone to dust accumulation and corrosion—focused cleaning was carried out. Meanwhile, paint touch-up and anti-rust treatment were conducted: professional coatings were used to repair local paint abrasions, further enhancing the machine's corrosion resistance and ensuring it maintains good condition during transportation and subsequent use.

Handle the traveling mechanism

With the smooth completion of the first two steps, all core components of the pile driver were effectively separated. For the two long boats and two short boats of the traveling mechanism, workers classified and protected them separately according to component size, weight and transportation requirements. Before loading, technicians conducted a comprehensive and detailed inspection of all disassembled components in accordance with equipment factory inspection specifications and project acceptance standards. Professional testing tools, such as non-destructive testing equipment and hardness testers, were used to perform flaw detection and hardness tests on key parts of the components—ensuring no internal defects and surface hardness meeting design requirements. At the same time, the integrity and flatness of the threads at each connection point were checked one by one to eliminate potential risks before transportation that could affect the subsequent performance of the equipment. Through strict quality control, we strived to deliver every component to the customer in optimal condition.

Load onto the vehicle and ship

Considering that 180 tons falls into the small-tonnage category, the transportation link also demonstrated advantages of high efficiency and convenience. Only 2-3 17-meter transport vehicles were deployed for this shipment to load all components. Compared with the complex transportation plans for large-tonnage machines, this significantly reduced transportation costs and scheduling difficulties, while shortening the transportation preparation cycle—providing strong support for the rapid launch of the customer's project. The selection of transport vehicles was scientifically planned based on component size and weight distribution to ensure balanced load-bearing, preventing safety risks caused by unstable center of gravity or overloading during transportation. Additionally, a comprehensive emergency plan was formulated for road conditions and weather factors during transportation to ensure the equipment is safely and punctually delivered to the customer's project site.
